Day 10-Faux Fall


I live on a busy street and we get a lot of random things blowing into our yard, mostly garbage, cigarette butts, fast food wrappers, and cans.   When I left the house the other day I was surprised to see that Fall had returned. These brightly colored fall leaves had popped up in our Lilac bushes.  The whole thing took me off guard.

On closer look I realized that they were fake. They had blown into the yard. My husband felt we needed a bit of color to brighten up the dull winter days stuck them in the brushes to trick me into another season. 

Fall is my favorite time of year these leaves, so the leaves serve as a great reminder of the beautiful fall light and the perfect temperatures of Autumn to come.
