Finding letters made of things in nature, architecture, household items and other random things is one of my favorite things to do. It is one of the first assignments I give beginning photography students; spell out your name. I had ambition and ideas for today’s challenge but alias no time. So in a sense I cheated with using giant felt letters to spell out ART. I knew filters would play a big part in jazzing up this image of shot on the floor of Joann’s Fabric.

Playing with Befunky filters, I would have liked to go further with this image to make it more dynamic but the more I did the less it looked like a photo.

I have said it before and will probably say it again, sometimes OK on this challenge is OK.
