I come from a long line of librarians- My mother was a librarian, grandmother, and great aunt. My first job was as a page at the Woodside Library in California when I was 14. I can’t say I am an avid reader. I have always found it a bit difficult to read. but I love books, the texture, turning pages, and amazing adventures and knowledge they provide.
How intensely the publishing industry is changing and altering our relationship with books is scary. I don’t want to stop progress but I don’t want to read a book on my iPhone or computer. I want a balance between the media.
Do you curl up in bed with a good hard copy of book or your ipad?
